This week I made my first bundt cake… OH MY GOODNESS, it is the best thing I’ve ever tasted and it is the most visually appealing food that I’ve ever made! No joke, I have had 8 pieces in 3 days!
Drum roll……. here is the recipe (you can thank me later)! 🙂
Ingredients:
Cake:
1 box of chocolate cake mix
2 small boxes of instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups of water
4 eggs
1 cup of chocolate chips
Icing:
4 oz. of cream cheese (usually half a normal bar)
1/4 cup butter (softened)
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, water, and eggs in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer
- Stir in one cup of chocolate chips, and then pour into bundt pan
- Bake 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean
- Let the cake sit on the counter in the pan for 10 minutes
- Then the scary part. Flip the cake onto serving plate to finish cooling. I just did this really fast and had no problems!
- To make the frosting, beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and marshmallow cream with powdered sugar until creamy
- Pour over /spread on cooled cake and top with chocolate chips
- Enjoy!!!!
