Where to even begin? Is it possible that Disney World gets more magical as my kids get older? I didn’t think it was possible but it definitely is!
For the first time, we stayed at a Disney resort AND I didn’t plan the entire trip…. we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and had Tink’s Magical Vacations plan it for us! Everything about the trip was perfect.
On the first day, we checked in and explored the beautiful Port Orleans Resort. This resort is CUTE, CUTE, CUTE! It was relaxing but still had the Disney charm! I made a reel all about the resort that you can watch here.
We decided to take the ferry right from the resort to Disney Springs! It was such a fun and unique way to get there.
Disney Springs is one of our family favorites! We ate dinner and shopped. The kids LOVE all the live music there but unfortunately on this night it was too cold to do that. We will be back soon though.
The next morning, we woke up bright and early for a double park day! We headed to Hollywood Studios and did early entry. I purchased Genie + and had my order rankings ready to go…we finished the entire park by lunch time! You can find more of tips about this here.
How fun were our outfits?
Our first ride of the day was Slinky Dog.
This was our first time riding the Rise of the Resistance and wow! It did not disappoint.
We have the funniest stories about the Tower of Terror…well funny for Judd and I. The kids don’t love this ride but we were so proud of them for being brave and giving it another shot!
Then it was time to head to Epcot! Look who we saw as soon as we got there!
We had a blast eating “around the world” and riding all the rides. The only ride we waited in line for the entire day was Frozen and that was only about 45 minutes. Our favorites are: Guardians of the Galaxy, Ratatouille, Frozen, Soarin, and Test Track.
We finally got to see the new Journey of Water! It was beautiful and such a relaxing break from the rides!

We always do a resort day between park days. It gives us time to unwind and relax. For breakfast we snagged a table outside and grabbed a bunch of beignets, they were so yummy!
While we were eating, look who showed up!
Camden played chess with these silly chipmunks which was so entertaining. Then Ella invited them to make a wish at the fountain! Could this morning have been any better?
We then spent most of the afternoon at the pool!
Camden won a hula hoop contest! The funny part is we had no idea he was this good at it!
We saw a craft table and the kiddos made slime…it’s these little things that Disney does that make the trip so special!
We ended the most relaxing day with s’mores!
Then, off to bed because we had an early park day!
We were up at the crack of dawn for another full park day! We headed to Animal Kingdom and look who was there to greet us! Did we hit the lottery with meeting characters this trip or what?
I purchased Genie+ again and had my ride preference figured out. I’m so glad we did because we rode Everest and did the safari before the park officially opened! You can find my Animal Kingdom tips here.
We then rode the two Avatar rides and it was time to head to our most favorite park…Magic Kingdom!
This is the park our family needs the most time at…we were there from 10:30 a.m.-after fireworks!
We rode all of the rides!!
Camden even rode Tron! Hopefully, next trip Ella will be tall enough to ride it!
We stayed for the fireworks which is always a favorite of ours!
We ended the day with Mickey Cake Pops at the Main Street Confectionary.

A huge thanks to Tink’s Magical Vacations for planning this trip for us! They go over and beyond and for the first time, our Disney trip was actually relaxing! The trip was practically perfect in every way.
