We had an extra special surprise this year for Camden and Ella’s birthday…we took them on a Disney Cruise! We usually go on a cruise once a year but this was the first Disney cruise we’ve ever been on and it’s one we won’t ever forget! We did the Disney Wish for 4 days/nights. I took way too many photos so I’m going to share half of the trip today and the other half soon.
Day 1
We drove to Florida the night before so we could get on the ship as early as possible. We made it to the terminal and were so excited!
Getting ready to board! Getting ready to board! Disney makes it extra special by announcing each family as you board the ship!
Look at this lobby! BEAUTIFUL!
First stop…ice cream and then lunch with more desserts!
I forgot to take a photo of our room but we got a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah which has 2 bathrooms and has a room divider with bunk beds! It was perfect for our family of four!
Something Disney does differently than other cruise lines is your rotate where you eat dinner every night…you keep the same table staff but the restaurant changes each night and each night it’s a different them. Our first night was at the Marvel restaurant. You better believe we went all out on our outfits. 😉
We had so much fun with this!
The restaurant was so interactive and so much fun! Camden thought it was the coolest thing he’s ever seen. The food was delicious too!
Give us all the Mickey Bars!
We caught a rocket launch from the ship before bed.
What a fun first day!
Day 2
Mickey waffles to start the day at sea! I mean does it get any better than that?
We got to meet the star of the ship himself right after breakfast!
Craft time! Look at how amazing the decorations are on this ship…this was Tiana Theme!
Then Camden went to the Kid’s Club, which he loved (Ella did too)!
Ella came with us because we had an early birthday surprise for her…Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a makeover!
Then it was time for dinner at Arendelle!
When the star of the show stops at your table but your burger is that good. 😉
We saw the Little Mermaid show that night and wow, it was amazing! The theatre is beautiful and it feels like you’re on Broadway! I didn’t get any photos but I was blown away!
I will share the rest of our trip soon. I hope you enjoyed reading about or first two days on the Disney Wish!
This looks like such a fun and loving family on a really special vacation. Thanks for the Disney cruise review – after reading this I know my family would have a great time.

As a mother of two, I can’t decide if the idea of going on a Disney cruise is thrilling or terrifying! Haha! It looks like you all had a blast though!
It was very thrilling in my opinion! Not stressful at all but it was a packed schedule!

My kids have been begging for a Disney cruise for years but it always seemed like it would take too much planning and not enough rest. Your post showed me otherwise.
I found it more relaxing than Disney World for sure!
