We have tried several recipes but we always go back to my aunt, Shelley’s (I call her Sassy) recipe! They are so easy to make and delicious!!
- Mix all the ingredients:
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1 cup soft margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 7 cups flour (or until stiff dough)
- Let sit in the fridge for 24 hours
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. We always turn the cookie sheet half way though
- Decorate and enjoy!
Note: This makes a LOT of cookies! Probably 3 dozen. Next year, we’re going to try splitting the recipe in half.
