We can’t stop smiling…we just got home from LEGOLAND Florida!! We had such a great time exploring the theme park, waterpark, and the Pirate Island Hotel!! It was our first time visiting and it definitely won’t be our last, it was a blast.
We arrived early on a Monday and went straight to the theme park! The kiddos were just in awe that everything was made from LEGOS!
We rode a million rides!
Took a little break and ate some lunch. We had a SUPER YUMMY dessert of Apple Fries! This is a must if you go!
Rode more rides! We rode our favorite ride, Masters of Flight 3 times (I forgot to take a photo of this ride).
We had the best morning/afternoon at LEGOLAND! We were so impressed with how much there is to do! They did a fabulous job designing this park, my kiddos truly believed everything was made of LEGOs!
Then it was time to check into our hotel! We stayed at the Pirate Island Hotel which is walking distance to the park! I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this hotel.
Not only was it super clean, the themed rooms were EVERYTHING!! The attention to detail they spent designing this is impressive. The kiddos had their own area (with LEGOs to play with), Judd and I had a crazy soft king size bed, they left the kids a scavenger hunt (with a toy they each got to keep) when we checked in, and they got a new toy on their bed every day, the pools were super fun, and breakfast is included in your stay. We couldn’t ask for more!
You can click here for a little video tour of our room!
After checking in, it was time for dinner! We ate at the Shipwreck Restaurant. This is the first time as a family that we’ve had a dinner at a family style restaurant. It was PERFECT! They bring you a huge platter and sides and everyone can just pick what they want. It was absolutely delicious!!
Look at how cute this restaurant is?
Our kiddos loved it!
Can’t forget dessert!!
We were all exhausted by the end of the night!
The next morning, we slept in and then ate breakfast (included in your room). It was also family style and delicious. How cute are these LEGO waffles?
Then it was time to head to the waterpark!
We had the best day going down slides, floating on the lazy river, and building floats out of LEGOs.
Have I ever mentioned I have two water-bugs for children? They then requested to go to the hotel pool!
We spent the rest of the evening by the hotel pool, even ordered a pizza so we didn’t have to leave!
After a wonderful night’s sleep, it was time to head to breakfast and then drive home.
We had the best time and made wonderful memories! Thank you for hosting us LEGOLAND Florida.
I’m so glad you guys had so much fun! You can see it in their smiles! We haven’t ordered a pizza by the pool yet. We’ll have to do that next time.
We always do this one night of almost all of our vacations…so relaxing!!
I’ve been to the LegoLand in California, went there what seems like eons ago, when my girls were 2 and 3 years old. They had a blast, of course! It was fun for mom and dad, too
So glad you had a good time!! The California location looks great too!
Can you believe I’ve never been there? I heard about it, but I wanted to see with my own eyes what it was like and thanks to you I can do it! Thanks for the review!
Aww well maybe someday!
I can’t think of a better getaway for any little LEGO lover. The kids looked like they had an amazing time.
Right?! They definitely did!
Its so nice to be a child again. I love the pics. You all seemed happy in the Legoland.
