One of the things I fell in love with in our new home was the playroom; I saw so much potential with this room! It was huge, had a large closet for toys, and beautiful windows that overlooked our yard. The previous owners had older kids so it was used as a media room and painted dark brown which meant we had a lot of work to do to turn into an airy and fun playroom.
I always cringe when I see playrooms that don’t look like playrooms and there aren’t visible toys in it. Sorry, Joanna Gaines. Where are they hiding all the toys? I wanted it to be really cute but still look like a playroom, I think we made that happen…
I love how it turned out! I will link everything (minus toys) under each picture.

The shelving and boxes are old but we got them at Walmart.
When I was younger, I babysat two adorable little girls that had the cutest dress up area. I loved it so much that I knew I wanted to do this for my kids someday.
