My goal is to make salmon once a week! Not only do I love the taste, it’s so good for you! My husband likes it but doesn’t love it so, I’m always looking for new recipes so that he doesn’t get bored. This is one of the easiest ones that I make and I normally have everything on hand. I hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds salmon
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- Lemon slices
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Line a baking sheet with a large piece of foil, large enough to fold over and seal to create a packet
- Melt the butter
- Stir in garlic powder, lemon juice, and brown sugar
- Place the salmon onto lined baking sheet and season with salt and pepper
- Pour the lemon butter over the salmon and spread evenly over the salmon.
- Sprinkle with parsley
- Cut the lemon and arrange slices over the salmon
- Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to cover and seal the packet closed
- Bake for 13-15 minutes or until cooked through
- Open the foil (BE CAREFUL because steam will be released)
- Put back in the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes with the packet open
- Enjoy
I made Roasted Carrots and Potatoes to go with this. The recipe is super easy:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Clean and cut the veggies
- Place on a baking sheet
- Sprinkle with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- Bake for 20 minutes
- Take out of oven and flip vegetables
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes
