One Drop of Essential Oil at a Time-

I have to admit, for years I have been intrigued by essential oils particularly Young Living. However, I never did anything about it even though I had so many questions…do they smell as good as a candle? Are they really not toxic?  Are they worth the money? Do they really work?  I finally decided to give it a try and decided to share with you my opinions!

A little bit about some of the oils in the kits:

At first, I spent an hour looking at the Product Guide and was blown away at how many products they offer!  Soon after though, I was overwhelmed because I had never used oils and there were SO many options. However, I then read this and it was very helpful! It tells you all the different ways you can use essential oils (Aromatically, Topically, and Internally).

I will admit that I haven’t used everything yet…I’m slowly experimenting! 

So far aromatically, I diffuse lavender every night. I’m the worst sleeper in the world, it hasn’t taken my insomnia away but I do think I am sleeping better.  I’ve diffused Lemon, Thieves, Citrus Fresh, and Frankincense during the day which all smell AMAZING! The main reason I wanted to try oils is because I wanted to get away from toxic candles but I still wanted my home to smell good and this has been exactly what I needed.

The only thing topically that I’ve tried was the hand purifier which we really love! I’m excited to try everything else.

My kiddos loved the NingXia Red®. I have also been putting a drop of Lemon in my water which is so refreshing!!
