One of the most recent questions I’ve been getting lately is if I whiten my teeth. I’d love to be able to say no and that it’s natural but I definitely whiten them. I go to Charleston Laser Teeth Whitening and love them! It’s located in downtown Charleston in an adorable area on Exchange Street.
It actually feels more like a spa than a medical room! Isn’t it cute?
The process itself takes anywhere from 15 minutes-1 hour based on what you book and how much you need. The first time I went, I was in there for about 30 minutes but she said my teeth were already pretty white. The process is water based, enamel safe, and PAIN FREE! It’s like tanning for your teeth but with no UV rays or orange skin. One thing I was worried about was my sensitivity, I sometimes get burning when I whiten my teeth but I didn’t get this at all!
When you get there, you are placed in an adorably decorated room in a comfy chair. You put a gloss on your lips, a gel on your gums to protect them, and glasses to protect your eyes.
Then, a light gel is put on your teeth and the light is turned on. You just relax!! Those 20-30 minutes for this busy twin mama were so peaceful to me! I even fell asleep!
Then it’s done and you get to see your results. Here were mine: I went from a S14 which is actually pretty white even though it doesn’t look like it in the picture to an S4 which is only 1 away from the whitest you can get. 🙂

A winning smile! We make sure we do take care of our teeth. My sister is a dentist and she makes sure every one in the family is cavity free with a white set of healthy teeth and gums.
Me and my whole family go to our dentist regularly, but yes, I’m due for a teeth whitening as well. Charleston LTW sounds like a nice place to get it done.
