In December, we went on a weeklong cruise through the Western Caribbean. The cruise stopped at: Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. This is our 7th cruise since we’ve been married and it did not disappoint! You can find some of our cruise tips here and can find some of our past trips here.
We took Carnival Glory out of Miami. We rented a convertible Mustang in Miami and had a great time exploring the evening before the cruise.
Our first stop was Grand Cayman! We did the #1 tourist attraction… swimming with stingrays! It was a blast!
Next, we went to Belize where we had the craziest excursion we’ve ever been on (and we’ve done a lot of crazy excursions) … To get to the excursion, we had to take a private plane to another island.
The view from the plane were amazing…
We then hoped on a boat and went snorkeling at a marine park…
Then we swam and “wrestled” with sharks! It was surreal!
This wasn’t a cheap excursion but it was worth it!
The next stop was Mahogany Bay. We went to a resort and had a great day relaxing and swimming. Our final port was Cozumel. I’ve been to Cozumel and we’ve both been to Mexico several times, so for this day, we just wanted to relax. I found the perfect excursion for this, Mr. Sanchos Beach Club. This is an all-inclusive club that is on the beach. It has activities, two pools, and food and drinks are included. The service is amazing here! We had one server who waited on us all day and took great care of us.
It was the perfect last day of vacation!
We had 2.5 days at sea, when I was younger I thought these days were so boring but now that I’m a busy mom, I LOVE days at sea! We slept in, hung out by the pool, ate way too much food, took naps in the sun, played games, went to the comedy shows, and watched movies. This trip was exactly what these busy twin parents needed! Thanks to my parents who watched Camden and Ella. Sadly, their week didn’t go too well because the kiddos were struggling with their first cold. 🙁
Thanks for another perfect cruise, Carnival! Until next time…
