This is a perfect Friday night dinner at home!
Ingredients (this makes 2 calzones but serves 4 people):
-2 containers pizza dough
-Pizza/pasta sauce- I use regular Prego
-Mozzarella Cheese
-Desired toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, etc.)
Instructions:
1. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle
2. Put sauce on side of the dough
3. Add desired amount of toppings and cheese on top of the sauce
4. Fold the side that doesn’t have any sauce or toppings over the other side
5. Pinch the edges in with your fingers and a fork
6. Cut a few slits in the top so it can vent
7. Bake at 375 degrees for about 25-30 minutes
8. I usually heat up more sauce to dip my calzone in but that’s up to you!
9. Enjoy!
